I have been used a few different systems in the past but here are a few recommendations:

DYMO LabelWriter – The thermal printing faded and we’re in Michigan, not texas or Florida. Also the labels were not very removable, even the “removable” ones.I bought clear matte finish laser printer labels from onlinelabels.com and print my own.Yes I have to hand write the date, miles etc.but I print what I need, they current cost is about $45.00 for 1800 blank labels and I can have full color. The only problem is they do tend to stick the window and are not static cling. On the other hand I have had some windows that would not hold a static label but these stick right to.I have only had to use a razor blade on 3 but that was primarily due to my fingernails being too short to start peeling the label.
p/s: I don’t recommend Dymo printers for their labels are made for different applications and will leave a residue depending on the label type. One of my service managers purchased a Dymo print system and immediately had complaints of the sticker residue and not coming off easily, but still this is my personal opinion, you may buy and try it for your self and who know it will suit with your task as we can see the reviews in Amazon for this printer also have lot’s of positive reviews from other buyer.
The Zebra TLP 2824 – This printer uses easily removable oil stickers. It works as a stand alone system so it does not have to be connected to a computer. It prints clearly and can be programmed to print anything you want it to print (ie. tire rotation due, coupons, etc.).The stickers do not leave any residue…you can read more details for this printer here.
